My Bad: Google Business Profile Reminded Me About The Importance of Consistency
The Myth of "Good Enough" Locally
I admit: I broke my routine. As a solepreneur who relies on consistency (my "Efficient Turtle" philosophy), I took a break last week from feeding my Google Business Profile (GBP).
Even though I feed this tool regularly, this single interruption reminded me of a crucial lesson: my GBP is not just an address listing; it's my local EEAT showroom, and consistency is its fuel.
My INTP profile (Logic) demands optimization. I realized that my GBP must be prioritized in my publication steps because it is the proof of my local professionalism.
1. The Content I Prioritize (The EEAT Strategy)
My GBP must showcase Trust and Expertise to my solepreneur and SME clients:
| Content Category | What I Post (My Information "Mercedes") | What I Avoid (My Content "Lada") |
| Posts | Strategic Blog Articles: I share logic (3-1-1 Strategy), business philosophy (Progressive Capitalism, Built in Public). I prove my EEAT. | Overly personal messages (illness, MBTI). I save those for other platforms. |
| Reviews | Detailed and Personalized Responses: I take the time to thank and use the client's keywords in my response. I must show my humanity and rigor. | No response. That signals neglect, and that, I do not accept. |
2. My Commitment: Consistency is My Rule
The issue wasn't that Google rejected me, but that I failed to apply my philosophy of consistency to this tool.
The Priority: I commit to making my GBP a fixed priority in my publication schedule.
My Rule: I am committed to publishing regularly to show Google (and my clients) that I am an active and reliable firm.
My GBP is where my rigor and professionalism must shine. I use it as a tool to show that I am the lighthouse of clarity in financial chaos.
